Trelogans to Thailand May 08

Dear All, We had wonderful holiday with the FAMILY in Dorset.Thankyou for praying Steve will be staying on here to get well again as he has good support from Sandyford ,our home church, and from the local health centre and has been at Sozo for inner healing and will continue with 'Wholeness in Christ' prayer counselling.Jamie will move in with him here at Whitton St. in the upstairs flat while Fi and Dave will be in the downstairs for their holiday at the end of June.

Then Fi and Dave will be on Home assignment from July 08 and stay in the downstairs flat again. Nini has had a driving lesson and went to sit the theory test but had lost her passport so wasn’t allowed to sit. Please pray that she'll get that licence soon. Jamie is still supporting himself working for a catering agency but may be applying for some full-time Christian work.

The builders are gone and are bill was just what we had left in the 'building fund'.Just a bit of painting and minor repairs and we'll be able to move furniture back from the garage and have two functional flats.

We have NEWS FROM THAILAND that The Petgalasin group is meeting every Sunday (instead of once monthly on a week day) and Nai and Sri, the long absent men, are attending (Sri brought his whole family with him last time). The new believers at Taptan church are still there but no news of the Talukdoo group yet. Sumalee is concerned at Suthipon's dictator-like approach to chairing the provincial committee and his casual approach to spiritual responsibilities like organising the Central Thailand conference, but there may be another side to this!

Happily a Singaporean short termer (Edmund) has been helping in Uthai as well as our regional director ,Ulrich, and they are much appreciated. The Baanrai split is still at status quo. Mali from Petgalasin has been co-ordinating with Prasong ,the vet at Taptan and have a potentially suitable house for us to rent there. I've booked tickets to meet our flight from Gatwick on 20th June so it's count down time!

Since we got back from holiday WE'VE BEEN to Gilcomston, Burnside, Mains of Fintry Churches of Scotland to report / preach and it has been great to meet up with so many friends and see how we are all linked in the great Christian 'network'. We were able to catch up with the Swans in Cove, Aberdeen and see them in action in their church plant there.

THIS MONTH I'll be preaching each Sunday in Staffin Dalsef and Scotston respectively and we'll be visitng during the week as well as hosting some visitors including the Knowles, my nephew ,Keith Leung (who worked with us in Uthai)and have already had my sisiter and brother- in -law for three nights (first visit since we got married 38 years ago!).We look forward to speaking on Thailand at Kathie's school on Friday and Steve will join us for the Scottish OMF conference in Aberfoyle at the end of May.

with love , Bob and Jan
